Understanding markets and how to read odds
luke bd Bet offers three common odds formats — decimal, fractional, and American. Decimal is the most familiar among Bangladeshi players.
Decimal 2.50 = Fractional 3/2 = American +150
If the bet wins, return is ৳500 (৳300 profit + ৳200 stake); if it loses, you lose ৳200.
The favourite usually has a lower price. Team B to win — decimal 1.50 (fractional 1/2, American -200). A ৳200 stake returns ৳300 (৳100 profit). American minus odds (-200) means you need to stake ৳200 to win ৳100.

Bet slip — single and multi bets
Clicking on a market adds the selection to your bet slip. One selection makes a single bet; adding multiple selections together creates a multi bet.
Single bet example: In a limited-overs match, Team A is priced at 1.80 and Team B at 2.00. A ৳500 bet on Team B — if Team B wins, you get back ৳1,000 (৳500 profit); if Team A wins, you lose ৳500.
Combined odds: 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.90 = 3.99 (approx.)
A ৳100 stake returns ৳399 — all three selections must win;
if even one loses, the full ৳100 is lost.
A multi bet offers higher potential returns, but also higher risk — because if one selection loses, the entire slip is void. It is sensible to start with single bets within your budget.
Sports and casino — two types of betting
luke bd Bet offers two types of betting. The sports betting section has live and pre-match markets for cricket, football, and other sports. Major tournaments like the T20 World Cup or BPL have multiple markets open for every match — options such as match winner, top batter, or total runs.
For full details on cricket markets and BPL betting, visit the luke bd cricket betting page.
In the Casino section, you can bet on games like slots, live baccarat, roulette, and Teen Patti. Each game has its own betting limits and rules, which appear on screen once the game loads. For more details on casino games, visit the luke bd Casino page.
Track your open and settled bets
At luke bd, every bet is recorded in the Bet History section of your account. The 'Open Bets' tab shows a list of your active bets — including odds, stake, and potential return.
Once a match ends, bets move to the 'Settled' tab. There you can find the amount won or lost, the time the bet was placed, and the result — all in one place. Reviewing this history gives you a clear picture of your betting patterns.
Checking your bet history regularly helps you understand which types of markets are taking up the most of your time and money. This is an important part of responsible betting.
To withdraw your winnings, you can transfer a minimum of ৳500 via bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, or bank transfer. Funds typically arrive within 15 minutes to 2 hours.
Set a budget and limits before placing bets
Betting is a form of entertainment — not a source of income. Setting your budget before each session helps keep things in check. This is available for players aged 21 and above.
Deposit Limit
Set a fixed daily or weekly deposit amount in advance. Once you reach that amount, decide not to deposit any further.
Time Limit
Decide how long you will bet in a single session and stick to it. Longer sessions tend to reduce focus and increase the chance of poor decisions.
Loss Limit
Take a break if you lose a set amount in a session. Chasing losses by continuing to play generally does not work out well.
Breaks and Self-Exclusion
If you feel the need, you can use the account pause or temporary suspension option from the Responsible Gaming page.
Betting Exchange — Understanding Back and Lay
At luke bd Bet, you can also place bets in exchange markets. There are two roles here — back and lay.
Lay Team A (for a ৳500 backer) — if Team A doesn't win, you gain ৳500 (before commission); if Team A wins, you pay ৳500 (liability: ৳500 × 1.00).
If an exchange bet loses, you lose your stake just as you would on a standard sportsbook — the difference is that here you are matched directly against other players.
